“ The way you lie”

Broken fires, pouring rain
need to crash the compromise
or see me go insane

my decision, other's names
this is my life
and i'm tired of playing games

gotta kill the compromise
gotta do what makes me feel alive
(2x)

The way you lie
the way you lie
it only matters
when i'm feeling lost
i don't know why

the way you want me
the way you cry
i only care
when i lose my alibies

you don't know
who i really am
you paint the picture
and leave the colours blank

my decision, other's names
this is my life
and i'm tired of playing games

No work of "Fiction" - Jay Gordon of Orgy tells it all.............

Q&A with Jay Gordon of ORGY by Soraya Garcia

Even though he is in the midst of a whole new “Orgy” situation, producer, singer and nowadays also electronic artist Jay Gordon took the time to give us an update on his latest endeavours and insights....
Q: Jay, not one day goes by without people asking you about the new “Orgy”. What was the main reason for changing the line-up and how are the fans reacting to this “Re-creation”?

Jay:Yeah that definitely stirred up shit with some of the fans on my FB page didn’t it? Oops. Not to mention a couple of the ORGY members getting really pissed about it as well, but you can’t please everyone, so there you have it.

Guys in bands (myself included), are like having bitchy girlfriends sometimes, or in this case, bitchy ex-girlfriends.(laughs)

Actually I didn’t do it to set anybody off or anything. I think my decision for deciding to put a new line up together, was based on wanting to get back on the road and tour again mainly, but also, because all of the original members seemed so busy working on their other projects, that it just felt like the right thing to do.

I’m not hating on them for that either, nor am I trying to keep them from doing what they really want to do which is Julien-K (Editor's note: Band of former Orgy members Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck), in my opinion, but what do I know?

Either way, I own the name, so I thought why not? I started this band, and see no reason why anyone would have a problem with me keeping the name alive, rather than let it completely fall to the wayside (which is what was happening).

Talk is cheap, and that’s all it ever seemed to be, when the original members and myself had spoken about touring over the past few years. It just seemed like why not,you know?

Q:You have been out of the music scene's spotlight for a while, yet you have remained busy “behind the scenes” - What projects did you take on after “Orgy's” break?

Man, what didn’t I do? Well let’s see, I had a son Jax, which was hands down the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life!! He is a little genius, and is so much fun. Love you buddy!

I started up a couple of personal projects, that I’d always wanted to do (for fun mainly), to producing everything from Hip-Hop Indie Rock, as well as writing music, and doing various remixes with bands like Escape The Fate, Asking Alexandria, Blood on the Dance Floor, and more recent,  having lots of fun with various types of dance music, and now Djing,  Electro, and Dubstep...

That kinda sums up the past 5 years or so, since the band hasn’t been on the road. Oh and let’s not forget the drugs/partying (Which always got me into way more trouble than I bargained for! Oops!), and the booze, followed by a plethora of failed relationship attempts.

All the drama one could ever hope for!!

Yet somehow, even in the peaks of my hazey blaze, a sprinkle of good old hardcore reality always seems to work it’s way into the madness, to keep me on my toes just enough, to get it all figured out somehow... We’ll see. (laughs)

Q: Also, I am pretty impressed with your latest personal project “Kill-o-watt”. What is the inspiration behind it and who else is involved in it?

Jay:Thanks a lot actually..I really do appreciate it when people say things like that. It means a lot to me, and inspires me to keep pushing forward. Very kind of you.

I’m always aiming to improve my musical abilities, and deliver a different perspective, which isn’t always easy.

Killowatt is just me at the moment. I worked on a track with Skrillex, but that will hopefully turn into the first Orgy single in a very long time, if everything works out as intended.

Sonny is extremely busy as I’m sure you know, so I’m not quite sure what his involvement will be from this point forward.

He did most of the music, which is amazing, and I’d love to get it out very soon!

Q: In the past, Orgy toured the States exclusively. Can you imagine a worldwide tour with “Kill-o-Watt” or Orgy ? Any tentative touring plans?

Jay:Yes yes and yes!!! It’s already in the works, and I’d love to get over to Europe especially...

Q: Looking back to the first big chapter of “Orgy”- Is there anything you regret doing during that time? Is there anything you wish you would or wouldn't have done as a band?

Jay:I have plenty of amazing memories to reflect on, when the time comes, and of course hind sight is 20/20, but I don’t have time to regret shit, you know?

It’s not like I can really change anything that I fucked up on in the past. Life just happens, and I’d rather focus my efforts, on what the future holds in store...

Q: Are you looking forward to singing again, and how are you preparing for that?

Jay: Hell yes I am totally looking forward to the next chapter.

Absolutely. I want it to be better than before. I have never really considered myself an actual singer in the grand scheme of things, so other than what I’m gonna wear on stage, I’m afraid I don’t have much of an answer for the preparation part of it, other than quitting smoking in the next few weeks.

I suppose I’m preparing to bring it hard and crazy, by any and all means necessary, and mostly try not to suck! (laughs)

Q: Which artists/scenes are interesting to you at the moment?

Jay: I like tons of stuff, and there isn’t enough room on the page to name all of them, but I am really digging guys like, Knife Party, Space Laces, Figure, Hirshee, Killowatt, and of course Sonny (Skrillex, who really inspired, and helped get me acclimated to the whole dj thing).

Q: Do you have a “motto” or credo you live by? Both personally and musically?

Jay: Yeah keep it moving and turn down the suck button! (laughs)

Q:Has becoming a father influenced your musical work in any way?

Jay:Yes absolutely. Jax is the biggest and best inspiration, I could ever hope for...

Q: What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about you?

Jay: I think the biggest misconception people have about me, is that I don’t care about important things, enough, which is the furthest thing from the truth, I just don’t have time to waste trying to explain what matters, when they should already know.

I guess the obvious thing to say here is “Don’t watch me, watch TV...” Well you can watch me on tv if you want.(laughs)

Q:Thanks for the interview Jay, and best of luck!
Jay: It's been a pleasure, and thank you!

“Love you when I hate you”

VERSE 1
It could all be
so
different
so many possibilities to never get burned
it could be
so easy
if u knew how to play the game like I want u to

(BRIDGE)
you gotta listen
you gotta make it right
you gotta be there when no-one's inside

CHORUS:
I wanna talk to you
when u don't know me
It's all a game
and your honesty sucks
I wanna talk to you
when u can't see me
i wanna love u when I hate you and it's never too much

(never too much 3x)

(VERSE 2)
Late at nite, wide awake
there's so much that you will never get from me
on my mind, never right
i wanna love u when I hate you and it's never too much

BRIDGE & CHORUS etc. To fade.

RADIOACTIVE by MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS

Lying on a fake beach
She'll never get a tan
Baby I'm gonna leave you drowning
Until you reach for my hand

In the night your heart is full
And by the morning, empty.
But baby I'm the one who left you, you're not the one who left me

[Chorus]
When you’re around me, I’m radioactive
My blood is burning, radioactive
I'm turning radioactive
My blood is radioactive
My heart is nuclear
Love is all that I feel
I'm turning radiactive
My blood is radiactive

[Marina]
Waiting for the night fall, for my heart to light up
Oh baby I want you to die for,
For you to die for my love

In the night your heart is full
And by the morning, empy
But baby I'm the one who left you, you're not the one who left me

[Chorus]
When you’re around me, I’m radioactive
My blood is burning, radioactive
I'm turning radioactive
My blood is radioactive
My heart is nuclear
Love is all that I feel
Ready to be let down
Now I’m heading for a meltdown

[Bridge]
Tonight I feel like neon gold
I take one look at you and I grow cold
And I grow cold...
And I grow cold...

[Chorus]
When you’re around me, I’m radioactive
My blood is burning, radioactive
I'm turning radioactive
My blood is radioactive
My heart is nuclear
Love is all that I feel
Ready to be let down
Now I’m heading for a meltdown
